28 YEARS OF INDUSTRY EXPERTISE
Lyett was previously a member of the Business Women’s Association of SA, The South African Association for the Conference Industry as well as The Association for Professional Conference Organisers of South Africa prior to its amalgamation with SAACI in the early 2000’s. Lyett is currently a member of the PCO Alliance Network serving as the Secretary on Exco and a member of the SA Events Council.
Since starting her career in 1992 as a conference co-ordinator in public training seminars, Lyett has moved through various aspects of Conference and Event Management including Conference Venue Marketing and Sales, to this point, 28 years later as owner of Gooseberry Event Services and Gooseberry Events and Incentive Travel, with vast experience across the spectrum of corporate and private event management.
Lyett also taught event management to both the private and public sector, through CBM Training as well as Knowledge Resources from 2004 – 2009.
